Dottie Robinson has more than 35 years of experience in a wide range of healthcare businesses including health care technology and operations. Before forming Caring for HealthCare, she was instrumental in the development of a small technology company that produced a care management application which is used to manage HMO lives in California. There Dottie set up operations, software implementations, client support and sales for the company as well as collaborated on product management. She was instrumental in building a strong, solid client base for the company.
As an information technology professional - Dottie has held the position of COO, Vice President of Client Support and Marketing, Product Manager, Senior System Analyst, Product Expert and Trainer. Prior to making the move into technology Dottie worked in health plan operations for several different carriers and during the transition of “off-line” claims processing to “on-line” systems she had her own claims processing company.
Dottie received her degree in Business Administration from Los Angeles City College and has attended a number of industry training programs. She is experienced in a wide range of business operations within the healthcare industry and has helped to develop software for both health plans and provider offices.
Ms. Robinson is a member of several industry groups including, ICE, AHIP, and HIMSS. She is also a member of the National Forensics League where her public speaking talents were rewarded with a number of awards from
1969 – 1977.
